Dr. Ligeti Dávid a VERITAS Történetkutató Intézet és Levéltár tudományos főmunkatársa. Doktori (PhD) fokozatát 2014-ben szerezte; disszertációjának témája Arthur Arz von Straussenburg cs. és kir. vezérezredes életpályája volt.
Kutatásai elsősorban az Osztrák–Magyar Monarchia politika- és hadtörténetére, különösen az első világháborúra és a Monarchia felső katonai vezetésére irányulnak.
Közel két évtizedes tudományos és szakmai tevékenysége a had- és politikatörténet metszéspontjában helyezkedik el.

Introduction
Dr Dávid Ligeti is a Senior Research Fellow at the VERITAS Research Institute and Archives. He received his PhD in 2014 for a dissertation on the life and career of Colonel General Arthur Arz von Straussenburg, the last Chief of the Austro-Hungarian General Staff.
His research focuses primarily on the political and military history of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, with particular emphasis on the First World War and the Monarchy’s senior military leadership.
Over the course of nearly two decades of academic and professional work, his research has explored the intersection of military and political history, with a particular interest in the relationship between military leadership, political decision-making, and the wider historical context of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
