Bemutatkozás
Dr. Tóth András szakmai pályája szorosan kapcsolódik a katonai infokommunikáció, az információbiztonság és a hadtudományi felsőoktatás területeihez. Pályáját katonai beosztásokban kezdte, ahol híradó és informatikai feladatokat látott el, majd fokozatosan a felsőoktatás és a tudományos munka felé fordult. Jelenleg a Nemzeti Közszolgálati Egyetem Hadtudományi és Honvédtisztképző Kar karán működő Katonai Infokommunikációs Intézet Infokommunikációs és Információbiztonsági Tanszék tanszékvezetője és egyetemi docens. Tudományos hátterét hadtudományi doktori tanulmányok, 2015-ben megszerzett PhD-fokozat és 2023-ban megszerzett habilitáció alapozza meg. Szakmai tapasztalatai között jelentős nemzetközi műveleti megbízatások szerepelnek, különösen Afganisztánban és Irakban, továbbá NATO- és EDA-kapcsolódású kibervédelmi gyakorlatokon is részt vett. Oktatási és kutatási tevékenysége erősen nemzetközi jellegű, amelyet több Erasmus+ oktatói mobilitás támogatott Romániában, Szlovákiában, Csehországban, Lengyelországban, Georgiában és Kenyában. Tudományos eredményeit és szakmai elismerését több ösztöndíj és díj jelzi, köztük az MTA Bolyai János Kutatási Ösztöndíj, az Új Nemzeti Kiválóság Program támogatásai, az OTDK Mestertanár Aranyérem, valamint kari és szakmai szervezeti elismerések.

Introduction
Dr. Andras Toth’s professional career is closely connected to the fields of military infocommunication, information security, and higher education in military science. He began his career in military positions, where he performed signal and IT duties, before gradually moving towards higher education and academic work. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Infocommunication and Information Security and as Associate Professor at the Institute of Military Infocommunication, Faculty of Military Science and Officer Training, Ludovika University of Public Service. His academic background is based on doctoral studies in military science, a PhD obtained in 2015, and a habilitation awarded in 2023. His professional experience includes significant international operational assignments, particularly in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as participation in NATO- and EDA-related cyber defense exercises. His teaching and research activities are strongly international in character, supported by several Erasmus+ teaching mobilities in Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Georgia, and Kenya. His scientific achievements and professional recognition are reflected in several scholarships and awards, including the MTA Bolyai János Research Scholarship, grants under the New National Excellence Program, the National Scientific Students’ Associations Council’s Master Teacher Gold Medal, and faculty-level as well as professional association awards.
