Andrew Dolan több mint negyvenéves tapasztalattal rendelkezik a nemzetbiztonság és a nemzetközi kapcsolatok világában. A Glasgow University intézményben történelmet és angol irodalmat tanult, majd orosz nyelvi posztgraduális tanulmányokat folytatott. Ezt követően a Royal Military Academy Sandhurst hallgatójaként végzett, majd több beosztásban szolgált az Egyesült Királyságban és külföldön. Leszerelése után a NATO-főtitkári különleges tanácsadó hivatalában dolgozott. Ebben az időszakban a biztonságot érintő nem katonai fenyegetések széles körével foglalkozott, és megbízásokat teljesített az EU számára. Több UK MOD-tevékenység után az amerikai hatóságokkal dolgozott együtt a tömegpusztító fegyverek elterjedésével és a feltörekvő technológiák kockázataival kapcsolatos tanácsadói szerepekben. Rövid AI and Public Policy fellowshipet végzett a Public Services University intézményben, és jelenleg az AI Forum, Hungary igazgatója.

Introduction
Andrew Dolan has had over forty years of experience in the world of national security and international relations. He studied History and English Literature at Glasgow University and followed this with post-graduate study in Russian. He went on to graduate from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst and served in several postings in the UK and abroad. On resigning his commission, he took up a position in NATO in the office for the Special Advisor to the Secretary General. During this period, he focused on a range of non-military threats to security and carried out assignments for the EU. After several UK MOD activities, he worked with the US authorities on a range of advisory roles relating to WMD proliferation and the risks from emerging technologies. He has undertaken a short Fellowship on AI and Public Policy at the Public Services University and is currently a director of the AI Forum, Hungary.
