Dr. Darabos Ádám politológus, a Nemzeti Közszolgálati Egyetem Eötvös József Kutatóközpont Vallás és Társadalom Kutatóintézetének tudományos munkatársa. 2023-ban summa cum laude minősítéssel szerzett doktori fokozatot a Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem Nemzetközi Kapcsolatok és Politikatudományi Doktori Iskolájában; doktori kutatása Reinhold Niebuhr Szent Ágoston-értelmezésére fókuszált. Politológiai alapszakos és mesterszintű tanulmányait kiváló minősítéssel végezte el az ELTE-n és a Budapesti Corvinus Egyetemen, közkapcsolatok szakirányon, krakkói és jénai külföldi részképzéssel. 2026-tól posztdoktori ösztöndíjas az Aquinói Szent Tamás Pápai Egyetemen (Angelicum). Kutatásai a keresztény politikai gondolkodás, a keresztény realizmus, a katolikus társadalmi tanítás, a kereszténydemokrácia, a háború és béke normatív kérdései, valamint az emberi méltóság és a technológiai/MI-szabályozás metszéspontjaira irányulnak. Publikációi és szerkesztett kötetei a modern politikai teológia, Reinhold Niebuhr, Szent Ágoston, a pápai tanítás, a kereszténydemokrácia és az MI-etika témáihoz kapcsolódnak.

Introduction

Dr. Ádám Darabos is a political scientist and Research Fellow at the Institute for Religion and Society of the Eötvös József Research Centre, Ludovika University of Public Service. He received his PhD summa cum laude from the Doctoral School of International Relations and Political Science at Corvinus University of Budapest in 2023; his doctoral research focused on Reinhold Niebuhr’s interpretation of Augustine. He completed his BA in political science at Eötvös Loránd University and his MA in political science, specializing in public affairs, at Corvinus University of Budapest, both with excellent qualification, with study periods in Kraków and Jena. From 2026, he is a postdoctoral fellow at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum). His research covers Christian political thought, Christian realism, Catholic social teaching, Christian democracy, normative questions of war and peace, and the intersection of human dignity with technology and AI regulation. His publications and edited volumes address modern political theology, Reinhold Niebuhr, Augustine, papal teaching, Christian democracy and AI ethics.
