Bemutatkozás
Jong-Mo Seo, M.D., Ph.D. orvos-kutató és biomedical engineer a Seoul National University intézményben. Szemész és biomedical engineer képzettséggel rendelkezik, M.D.-fokozatát az SNU School of Medicine intézményben, M.S. és Ph.D. fokozatait biomedical engineering területen szerezte, továbbá szemészeti szakorvosi képesítéssel rendelkezik, amelyet az SNU Hospital képzésében szerzett. 2000 óta a mesterséges látásra, retinal prostheses, neural interfaces és medical informatics területekre összpontosít. Munkája a klinikai szemészetet bioelektronikával, microelectrode-array designnal, implantálható anyagokkal, például polyimide és liquid crystal polymer alkalmazásokkal, vezeték nélküli intraocularis rendszerekkel és vizuális percepciós kutatásokkal kapcsolja össze. Emellett klinikai kapcsolatot tart fenn ritka retinalis betegségekkel, és hozzájárul a physician-scientists interdiszciplináris oktatásához és mentorálásához.

Introduction
Jongmo Seo, M.D., Ph.D., is a physician-scientist and biomedical engineer at Seoul National University. Trained as an ophthalmologist and biomedical engineer, he holds an M.D. from SNU School of Medicine, an M.S. and Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, and board certification in ophthalmology, trained at SNU Hospital. Since 2000, he has focused on artificial vision, retinal prostheses, neural interfaces, and medical informatics. His work connects clinical ophthalmology with bioelectronics, microelectrode-array design, implantable materials such as polyimide and liquid crystal polymer, wireless intraocular systems, and visual perception research. He also maintains clinical engagement in rare retinal disorders and contributes to interdisciplinary education and mentorship for physician-scientists.
