Bemutatkozás

Prof. Dr. Ujházi Lóránd a kánonjog, a teológia és a biztonságtudomány határterületein dolgozó interdiszciplináris kutató. Tudományos munkája az egyházi jogrend, a katolikus társadalmi tanítás, a Szentszék nemzetközi szerepvállalása, a válságkezelés, a békeépítés és a vallás társadalmi jelentősége közötti kapcsolatokat vizsgálja. Kánonjogi doktorátusát a római Pápai Szent Kereszt Egyetemen szerezte, emellett teológiából a Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetemen, hadtudományból pedig a Nemzeti Közszolgálati Egyetemen szerzett PhD-fokozatot. Hadtudományi habilitációja a Szentszék diplomáciai és intézményi szerepét elemezte a nemzetközi válságkezelésben. Kutatói és oktatói profilja a jogi, teológiai és biztonságpolitikai szempontokat kapcsolja össze, különös figyelemmel az emberi méltóság, a béke, a felelősség, az intézményi döntéshozatal és a vallási közösségek közéleti szerepének kérdéseire. Munkái a kortárs társadalmi és technológiai kihívásokat nem pusztán szabályozási problémaként, hanem morális, antropológiai és intézményi kérdésként értelmezik. Publikációi a Szentszék békeközvetítő és diplomáciai szerepétől a megszentelt élet intézményeinek békeszolgálatán át a teremtésvédelem és a katolikus egyház társadalmi felelősségének témáiig terjednek.

Introduction

Prof. Dr. Lóránd Ujházi is an interdisciplinary scholar working at the intersection of canon law, theology and security studies. His academic work examines the relationships between ecclesial jurisprudence, Catholic social teaching, the international role of the Holy See, crisis management, peacebuilding and the public significance of religion. He holds a doctorate in canon law from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome, a PhD in theology from Pázmány Péter Catholic University, and a PhD in military sciences from the Ludovika University of Public Service. His habilitation in military sciences analysed the diplomatic and institutional role of the Holy See in international crisis management. His research and teaching profile connects legal, theological and security-policy perspectives, with particular attention to human dignity, peace, responsibility, institutional decision-making and the role of religious communities in public life. He interprets contemporary social and technological challenges not merely as regulatory problems, but also as moral, anthropological and institutional questions. His publications address topics ranging from the peacebuilding and diplomatic activity of the Holy See to the contribution of consecrated life to peace, creation care and the social responsibility of the Catholic Church.
